The caravan is an ideal way to discover the desert and the ancient way of life of nomads. The beautiful Hamada du Drâa and the lake of Eriki will allow you to alternate your walk and climb on a camel’s back on a 10-15 km daily circuit.
The landscapes crossed during the caravan make it possible to discover and to appreciate the diversity of the desert. From stretches of stone (Hamada) to large sand dunes (erg) through oases. We offer several types of tours from M’Hamid or the Tagounit oasis.
“Bel H’adi” or “the polar star” was used, at the time of the large caravans (Azalai), as a landmark in the Sahara. The tour starts at Bivouac Le Petit Prince and lasts from 5 to 7 days.
During the journey you will spend your evenings around the fire where you will enjoy the constellations of stars in the illuminated sky.
