Departure from Marrakech at 8am in 4×4 for «Ait Benhaddou», crossing the world-famous Atlas mountain suite. We will visit the Kasbah of «Telouet» (Residence of the Pasha Glaoui), or we will have lunch.
Then we will cross the Ounila Valley in Ksar from Ait Benhaddou (UNESCO World Heritage Site). This night will be spent in a hotel or Riad of your choice in Ait Benhaddou.
After a night of rest at the Bivouac, we will leave for a Safari on the back of a camel to discover the wonders of the Arada of the Draa.
In the late afternoon, we will return to the Bivouac or a slow cooking dinner will be served. After this one, people tend to gravitate towards the fire, or they can relax while listening to local music and sharing stories from past years.
After sunrise and a healthy breakfast, departure for the dry lake of Eriki and the visit of the village «Foum Zguid» on the Way.We will break for lunch in «Taznakht» and arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
After breakfast, the journey continues to M’Hamid where we will descend into the valley of Draa, passing through many small villages of «Ksours» and «Kasbah». We will stop for lunch in Zagora; once our belly is full and our legs extended, we will continue on our way to our destination.
In the city of M’Hamid, we will travel to the Bivouac on Camel’s back to enjoy your first sunset in the dunes.
After breakfast, the day will begin with a hike through the oases and visiting a large number of villages on the way. In the village of Kasbah, we will stop to enjoy a unique glass of tea from the region, and around the middle of the day we will return to Bivouac for lunch. As the afternoon is a bit cooler, we will leave for the great Dune Chigaga!
That night we will camp at the foot of Chigaga or you could enjoy the beautiful sunset around a glass of tea and thus witness amazing constellations of stars.
